You are cordially invited to attend the Microarray Image Analysis Workshop jointly hosted by Dr. Gary Hardiman of the BioMedical Genomics Microarray laboratory and BioDiscovery, Inc.

This workshop is intended for professors, post-docs, graduate students, and other researchers who are currently researching with microarrays or will be doing research with microarrays in the future. This is an ideal forum for users to learn about the fundamentals behind microarray image analysis and receive hands-on experience with industry leading software. The majority of the workshop will be focused on spotted array technology, but users of all technologies are welcome. The workshop will cover a variety of topics on microarrays, including:

Major Issues in Array Image Analysis and on research
Fundamental principles of microarray image analysis
Brief tutorial on how to perform microarray image analysis
Q & A about Microarrays, Analysis, and Experimental Design approaches
Live image analysis software for the audience to practice analyzing microarrays
